Youssouf Abi-Ayad – actor

Youssouf Abi-Ayad joined the 42nd class of the Strasbourg National Theatre School in 2013. He trained with Thomas Jolly, Christine Letailleur, Mathieu Bauer, Julie Brochen, Stanislas Nordey, Stuart Seide, Françoise Rondeleux, Marc Proulx, Chrisophe Imbs, Martine Schambacher, Arpad Shilling, Jean Louis Hourdin and others.

Since graduating in 2016, he has worked with Mathieu Bauer on Shock Corridor by Samuel Fuller (Nouveau Théâtre de Montreuil), Christine Letailleur on Baal by Brecht (Théâtre National de Strasbourg, Théâtre National de Bretagne, La Colline), Thomas Jolly on Le Radeau de la méduse by Georg Kaiser (Odéon, Théâtre National de Strasbourg, touring China and Monaco), Maëlle Dequiedt on Trust Karaoké Panoramique by Falk Richter, I Wish I Was, Stabat Mater, Wuthering Heights + Glass Town and Christophe Honoré on Les Idoles and Le Ciel de Nantes.

His film credits include work by Nadir Moknèche (L’air de la mer rend libre, nominated for the Révélations César 2024), Loïc Hobi (L’homme jetée), Hakim Mao (Babtou Fragile), Coline Vernon (Chats perchés), Clément Guinamard and Nicolas Mongin (Grand Amour).
