Séphora Pondi – actress

Séphora Pondi joined the EDT91 (departmental drama school) in 2012 and in 2014 took part in the first season of the Ier Acte actor training programme at the Théâtre national de la Colline, under the direction of Stanislas Nordey (courses with Nicolas Bouchaud, Jean-François Sivadier and Valérie Dréville). At the same time, she attended the ÉRAC (École régionale d’acteur de Cannes – class of 24), graduating in 2017. She has acted under the direction of Julie Berès, Benoît Bradel, Éva Doumbia, Rémy Barché, Sébastien Derrey, Myriam Marzouki, Mathieu Touzé, and the duo Yoann Thommerel and Sonia Chiambretto. She staged a public reading of her texts Mantra at the TYPO festival, écritures de caractères, organised by the Ateliers Médicis. She is also an associate artist at Théâtre 14, co-directed by Mathieu Touzé and Édouard Chapot. In 2021, she will be appearing in Quelle misère by Ifig Brouard, La Dégustation by Ivan Calbérac, Grand Prix by Jan Prusinowski and in Avant l’effondrement by Alice and Benoît Zeniter. She also plays the role of Cora in the series Week-end family directed by PEF and Sophie Reine for Disney +. She has also worked on radio dramas for France Culture, directed by Alexandre Plank and Chris Hocke. She has been hired as a pensionnaire of the Comédie-Française from 1 September 2021.
