3.58 am in the attic. Zed, a 16-year-old boy, slumps into bed with his headphones on and scrolls on his smartphone, taking us on a journey through the constant stream of images and sounds that make up his insomniac reflections/meanderings. Heading towards tenderness and light, Trigger Warning is a poetic and musical variation on the theme of modern adolescence. Over the course of an hour, Marcos Caramés-Blanco and Maëlle Dequiedt paint a portrait of non-conformist youth, laid bare in the dead of night.
